Kyoritsu 6205
Similar to primetest 125 and TNT RCD this Kyoritsu 6205 tester too is battery operated. It comes with internal memory that can store up to 999 tests, a built-in isolation transformer, can do RCD testing, appliances, and extension lead. It is handheld, easy to use, and can be switched between 250v and 500v testing for surge-protected equipment.
Seaward PAC3760 DL
A little bit more expensive than the other testers, Seaward PAC3760 is considered to be one of the best units in its price range. If you’re looking for a tester that is fast, efficient and lets you store and download data on your computer plus comes with an optional printer that you might require at a later stage (sold separately), then this is the tester for you. PAC3760 DL is capable of testing portable and fixed RCDs and has 3 phase adapter (sold separately) testing capabilities as well.
Metrel DeltaPAT 3309 BT
The most expensive tester on this list is the Metrel DeltaPAT which also happens to be one of our best-selling testers and the most popular tester in the industry. The reason is very straightforward, this tester can perform any tests that you require simply and conveniently. It’s quick, is both battery and mains operated, can do RCD testing, and comes with internal memory that can store 1500 results. It’s very easy to carry around and comes with Bluetooth connectivity that allows printer compatibility and data recording via an Android app that is sold separately.
